What if one of opera’s most haunting stories could unfold not just onstage—but on the page?
We’re thrilled to unveil Madama Butterfly: The Comic, a stunning new adaptation illustrated by Christopher Souza and Amy Fielder. With painterly detail and cinematic sweep, this graphic retelling brings Puccini’s tale to vivid life, panel by panel. It’s a tribute not only to the beauty of the music but to the emotional depth of the characters—especially Cio-Cio San, whose story still breaks hearts more than a century later.
🎟️ Madama Butterfly runs April 26 to May 4 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Tickets here.
